More than 1 year ago I had a dream:
I wanted to find a way to share my Family Tuscan recipes with the highest numer of food lovers to let them become “The 12 Italy” brand ambassadors all over the world for saving grandmothers’ teachings through the time…
And today, my dream is true ❤

My name’s Francesca, CEO and founder of “The 12 Italy”: mum, passionate cook and authentic food lover.
The cooking classes for my guests are not just a recipe to bring home: is a new concept of getting-together explaining and experiencing the real Tuscan &I talian taste and flavours of the traditions.
I was born and raised in heart of Tuscany and I still live here in my family country home at edge of Chianti with 2 sons, 2 dogs, and 2 cats.
I spent my childhood around the fire helping cooking my grand helping my father in the family’s vegetable garden and growning up along with all of the flavors of all that is typically Tuscan.

My grand mothers tought me to cook genuinely, not to waste anything in the kitchen, respect the seasons and make dishes that delight the palate and refresh the spirit.
Every time my guests and I cook together is a mouthfull of memories from my childhood cennected to people and places.
The emotions that re-appears, happily shared with my guests, give an unforgettable and lasting beautiful memory of Tuscany!

My home has been completely renovated just 10 years ago; in the past it was an Farm shed for agricultural tools, part of it was used by my father to dry grapes for making Vinsanto and the actual kitchen was a shelter for the night for chickens and pigeons.
During the renovation I chose that part of the house to be used as kitchen as I always felt there a beautiful energy and an extreme brightness.
At that time, cooking classes were not in my mind, but I am extremely grateful for being able now to welcome my guests and make them feel at home even in a far away country.
